I regret booking here. Photo is far from reality. And I might as well talk to a robot receptionist.

the place is near kallang MRT. hot shower is working. that's it. everything else is awful.

staff ain't friendly at all, especially the receptionist during day time. our presence was a heavy burden for her even if we were trying to keep a friendly face (either she's simply being racist or she bored AF with what she's doin). unsure if this was intentional but she assigned us to the top most run down room (almost everything is broken there: aircon, cabinet, room door knob (the maintenance guy even had a HARD TIME opening our room when we asked for him to check the aircondition! like, seriously for a while I thought he would suggest to just destroy the door bec the struggle was real)). though we were able to transfer room when we asked the second girl at the reception. during checkout, I handed over the key to the snob receptionist, she just glanced and took the keys really quick, having a "right, now leave" look written all over her face, as if we were wasting her time, didn't even bother to talk, she could pass as a grumpy deaf-mute. anyhow, the room/s is WAY TOO FAR from the picture. I paid for a costly room for the privacy, I regret it. stayed at other cheaper hostels at SG and the staff service + hostel facility is definitely better than this.

The location offered good variety of local food within walking distance. The other staff on the other days were more welcoming and friendly.

On the day we arrived (31st July 2019 at night about 10pm), the staff that was there, wasn't very friendly and seems annoyed at us. Even asking him for the WiFi password seems like we are disturbing him. Apart from that, the air-conditioning wasn't that strong (room 703). Takes very long to cool the room down. Also the holder for the shower head is loose and can't hold the shower head steady. We had to empty our own trash.
